Storytelling content, contexts, and controversies

The performance of autoethnographic storytelling can amplify the voices those who are often unheard, silenced, or marginalized. Moreover, personal in appropriate contexts provide a forum for sharing previously unspoken unspeakable that, when shared, begin to heal teller and promote social justice societal change. Yet, not all stories safe share. Thus, telling present ethical concerns which there no pat answers one-size-fits-all solutions. This article discusses few these concerns.
